Tax Preparation Assistance
AARP Tax-Aide is the nation’s largest free, volunteer-run tax assistance and preparation service available to taxpayers with low and middle income, with special attention to those age 60 and older. This year some tax returns will be filed electronically.
Those seeking assistance should call to make an appointment and are asked to bring their previous year’s tax returns, plus information on their 2009 earnings including pensions, form 1099’s, Social Security, and other supporting forms that apply.
All homeowners and tenants must complete a New Jersey return, irrespective of their taxable income, if they wish to apply for the Fair Rebate
